Spring Feeding Goldfish and Koi in the Water Garden

Spring and Fall are special times of the year that fish should receive a special diet of wheat germ nutrients that are highly digestible in cooler temperatures. Always supply a variety of foods to assure that your fish are getting all of the nutrients that they need. It is important to stop feeding cold water fish when the temperature of the water goes below 50 degrees F. However, you should use a special blend of fish food that is highly palatable and digestive formula that can be feed to fish in lower temperatures.
